Adventure Program

Adventure is an intensive outpatient program that serves youth ages 13 to 18 who are seeking help with substance abuse and/or psychiatric issues. It may be a primary treatment program or a follow-up program for youth involved in other treatment.

The Arts Club is a prevention program geared for children in kindergarten through 4th grade who are identified with behavior problems and/or early developmental disabilities.

Child Abuse Prevention
Child Abuse Prevention provides parent education groups offered at no charge to parents in Carter, Hawkins and Washington counties.

Children First
Children First is a court-mandated program for divorcing parents with children under age 18 that provides counseling classes and preliminary mediation education.

Continuous Treatment Team

Continuous Treatment Team is an intensive therapeutic in-home program offering both therapy and case management services. It is designed for families whose children are at-risk of hospitalization, out-of-home placement, or are being transitioned back into the home from placement. Services are provided in Carter, Greene, Johnson, Sullivan, and Washington counties in Northeast Tennessee.


FOOTHOLDS

FOOTHOLDS works one-on-one with children and their families to build a healthy family environment. The program helps identify obstacles, increase communication skills, structure positive home, social skills development; provides support, guidance and links to resources; and educates caregivers.

Greenwood Challenge
The Greenwood Challenge ropes course is a carefully planned outdoor learning environment where mental and physical problem solving activities are included.


HOPE for Tennessee
Previously known as Project HOPE, HOPE for Tennessee provides education and prevention services to more than 100,000 people annually through street outreach, community events, health and state fairs and group activities on:

• HIV & other Sexually Transmitted Diseases

• Hepatitis

• Tuberculosis

• Universal Precautions

• Abstinence

• Teen Pregnancy

Intensive Focus
Intensive Focus is a program that leads students in a small group process of 8 to 15 sessions, meeting one hour weekly that helps students identify personal problems, retain value, restore productivity and seek help.

Intensive In-Home Services
Intensive In-home Services, a home-based family-focused program for children from birth to 17 with emotional difficulties, returning from placement, at risk of out-of-home placement.


Mother-Child Connection
Mother-Child Connection is an outpatient program for pregnant, substance-abusing women or mothers with infant children. Treatment includes individual, family and group therapy, substance abuse treatment, health and relapse education and case management. Services include:

• Specialized Treatment to Deal with the Unique  

  Problems Women Face in Recovery

• Links to Quality, Comprehensive Obstetrical
  Care for Pregnant Women

• Specialized Services for Women with Children

Prevention Services
Prevention Services provides the community with basic prevention strategies to enhance protective factors, such as promoting positive mental and emotional well-being and decreasing risk factors such as peer pressure and availability of drugs.

Project BASIC

Project BASIC, founded in 1985, serves elementary students in 39 counties in Tennessee. Project BASIC is funded by the Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities.
    The coping skills, self-confidence and problem-solving skills developed by the BASIC program will help students make GOOD choices throughout their lives.

Project LINK
This PD1 outpatient program for pregnant, substance-abusing women or mothers with dependent children in Lee, Scott, Wise counties and the city of Norton, Va., provides substance abuse treatment and linkage within the community for resources that promote and support recovery. Services include:

• Specialized Treatment to Deal with the Unique  

  Problems Women Face in Recovery

• Links to Quality, Comprehensive Obstetrical
  Care for Pregnant Women

• Specialized Services for Women with Children

Project Safe Place and Runaway Program
The Runaway Program housed at Link House utilizes Project Safe Place, offering emergency shelter and counseling up to 14 days.


Regional Child Development Center

Regional Child Development serves children in Lee, Scott, and Wise counties and the city of Norton found to have developmental delays and/or disabilities are eligible for early intervention services through the Infant & Toddler Connection of LENOWISCO.

RIP is a nationally recognized, parent-implemented, activity-based program for families of young children. It is offered free of charge to participants. RIP is fully funded by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities.

Student Assistance Program (SAP)

SAP provides intervention for at-risk students at schools in Greene, Johnson, Sullivan and Washington counties with academic, social and/or behavioral problems. SAP’s goal is to provide clinical services for students with significant emotional and behavioral issues and help schools maintain safe and disciplined learning environments.
