Crisis
Stabilization Unit
The 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Unit provides short-term stabilization
services for individuals with mental health and substance abuse
issues.
The CSU serves
residents of 10 counties: Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hancock, Hamblen,
Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington. Frontier Health
is operating the first CSU in Northeast Tennessee and in Southwest
Virginia.
Frontier Health’s CSU is a voluntary, mental health unit for
adults 18 years of age and up who are experiencing a mental health
emergency.
Referral
to the CSU is made by Frontier Health’s Mobile Crisis Response
through an initial screening, assessment and triage.
Mobile Crisis Response Team works with local
emergency rooms, physicians offices, detention centers and others
to respond to mental health and substance abuse emergencies.
Mobile Crisis
Response is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you,
a family member or friend is experiencing a mental health or substance
abuse emergency, or you have questions about services that are available,
call 1-877-928-9062.
If the individual
experiencing the crisis has attempted to harm themselves or others,
call 911 immediately.

Magnolia
Ridge Residential Treatment
Magnolia
Ridge is a structured detoxification and residential treatment program for
adults 18 and older. Magnolia addresses not only the needs of adults
with a primary alcohol or other drug-dependency, it simultaneously
treats diagnosed co-occurring mental illnesses. Magnolia's Willow
Ridge provides residential services for women. Admission to Willow
Ridge is provided through Magnolia Ridge admission.
Willow Ridge
services include Co-occurring Mental Health & Addiction Treatment;
Case Management; Individual and Family Therapy; Family Education
Group; Gender Specific Therapy; Life Skills Management Relapse Prevention;
Denial Management; and Aftercare.
Services
at Magnolia and Willow are designed to teach or restore adult dysfunctional
alcoholics or addicts to a client-led appropriate level of functioning.
Focus is on intensive intervention with step-down into other types
of treatment / after-care to provide the best-possible support for
a recovering person.

Laurels
The Laurels provides a
non-hospital based residential medical detoxification and rehabilitation
for adults with alcohol and other drug problems including group,
individual, and educational group counseling, case management, recreational
activities and after-care planning.

Woodridge
Psychiatric Hospital at Johnson City Medical Center
Woodridge Hospital is
a 75-bed, acute care facility offering psychiatric and substance
abuse services.
Services
include an Intensive Treatment Program, Child/Adolescent Program,
Adult Program, Geriatric Care and substance abuse treatment. Therapy
is an integral component of the treatment program.
Traditional
group, individual, family and couples psychotherapies are available.
There is also an expressive therapy department that provides non-traditional
therapy in art, music, relaxation, drama and writing.
The adolescent unit of Woodridge is equipped
with a modern classroom to help ensure youth clients don't get behind
while at Woodridge. Two educators staff the classroom and provide
instruction to continue the curriculum of each student.
