Employees who use drugs or who work while under the influence of drugs or alcohol present a safety hazard to themselves, fellow employees and clients. Moreover, the use of drugs and alcohol by employees limits their ability to function effectively in the accomplishment of their daily duties and in providing quality services to clients. Therefore, employees are prohibited, while on duty or on company property, from being under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
